Sky Pilar Rider Kobuck Jonathan
CH. Stelline's Dark Desert Sky "Sky"is a Multi BOS and BOB winner. She is Dam to "Pilar" (Ch. Barynuk's Menacing Sky) "Rider" (CH. Barynuk's Rider In The Sky) and Denny ( CH. Huskavarna's Menace to Society). Sky finished very quickly, but would rather be at home where she sleeps with her Dad and reigns as the undisputed Matriarch of Barynuk.
Sky will be back in the Breed Ring this Fall, looking better than ever. Sky wants to see her new puppies get off to a great start. We'll keep you posted...
CH. Barynuk's Menacing Sky "Pilar" is a Multi BOS and BOB Winner from the classes. She is littermate to Ch. Barynuk's Rider In The Sky and Ch. Huskavarna's Menace To Society. Pilar won Reserve Winner's Bitch at the Cleveland Speciality, where her littermate "Rider" won Winner's Dog. Pilar finished her championship and is looking forward to getting back in the Breed Ring in 1999. Pilar is taking time off to grow her new coat, and will soon be back in the ring where she actually enjoys "doing her thing". Pilar started 1999 by winning Best Of Breed at the Chambersburg Area Kennel Club Show with Major competition under esteemed Judge Eileen Pimlott.
CH Barynuk's Rider In The Sky "Rider"is a Best Of Breed, Group Placement , Speciality Winner . Rider had taken Winner's Dog at the Siberian Husky Club of Greater Cleveland Specialty in 1998. Rider is littermate to CH. Barynuk's Menacing Sky and CH. Huskavar na's Menace To Society. Rider finished his Championship at the Harrisburg Kennel Club Show under Judge Stephen J. Hubbel on 4/17/99 with Winner's Dog and Best Of Winner's placements. Recently, Rider took Best Of Breed and Group IV at the Chesapeake Virginia Dog Fanciers Association.
"Kobuck" or "Bucky"
is our History Making Siberian. He is the first White Siberian to achieve a Championship since the 1970's. Kobuck is a total "Love Dog", with an unequaled disposition. We can put small puppies with Kobuck and he remains a gentle role model. Kobuck finished his championship with two four-point majors, including Winner's Dog at the Pittsburgh Speciality. Kobuck enjoyed making new friends at the 1998 S.H.C.A National Speciality, where he made the first cut in the Breed Competition. Kobuck has produced very sound puppies, some have already been in both Breed and Group Rings. Kobuck's special gift to all his offspring is his "Love Dog" disposition.Kobuck's littermate is "Jonathan XI ", the present Mascot of the University Of Conneticut (UCONN). Before Kobuck's championship, Jonathan was the only celebrity in the family. In 1999,Kobuck went to Conneticut to visit his brother Jonathan XI. While in Hartford, he took time to win Best Of Opposite Sex at the First Company Govenor's Foot Guard Athletic Association. Kobuck sent congratulations to his brother on the UCONN's 1999 Championship win, which appropriately took place on Kobuck and Jonathan's Birthday !!!

BISS CH Anbi's Barkarian Sneak Attack "Neaka" is a BISS multi BOB and BOS winner. Neaka finished her championship with 3 majors, including Winner's Bitch at the SHC Greater Cleveland Speciality. Neaka survived the final cut in the Breed Ring at the 1998 S.H.C.A National Speciality,where she was expertly handled by Karen Hunt. Special thanks to Jill Kennedy Wolens down in Texas for sending this extremely sound Siberian to Barynuk. Neaka has produced extremely sound puppies which are now out in the Show Ring making names for themselves. Neaka is now almost 8 years old and still is one of the most stunning Siberians we have ever seen. On October 9th,2000, Neaka won BISS (Best in Specialty Show)at the Delaware Valley Siberian Husky Club's Specialty. With Brian Flory's expert handling, Neaka prooves that she's not getting older, she's just getting better!!
Barynuk's Calm Before The Storm "Storm" was a BOS and BOB winner from the classes before he was a year old. His accomplishments include his first major (4 pts) under Judge George Marquis at the National Capital KC show in July 1998 where he took WD/BOW/BOB (over specials); and WD/BOW at the Lancaster Kennel Club Show in May 1999 under Judge Charles Trotter gained his second major (3 pts). Although needing only four singles to finish his Championship, his “ringtime” has been relinquished to his son “Jesse – Barynuk’s Earth Wind and Fire.
Storm is owned and spoiled by Cindy & George Kardisco, and lives in Hazleton, Pennsylvania with their children Ashley and Bryan, Siberian buddy “Meeko” and his son “Jesse”. In addition to Jesse, Storm also has other offspring in AKC conformation events, as well as recreational sledding.
Barynuk's Ancestral Gem "Anna"
, is named after my grandmother because of her sweet loving disposition. She is littermate to "Facet" (Barynuk's Cut Of The Gem) and "Storm" (Barynuk's Calm Before The Storm). Anna has been doing exceptionally in the ring. She took fourth place in the 12-15 Month Sweeps at the S.H.C.A National Speciality even being completely out of coat. Anna Started 1999 out by taking Reserve Winner's Bitch at the Chambersburg Area Kennel Club show with Major competiton under esteemed Judge Eileen Pimlott. Barkarian Barynuk's Cut of the Gem "Facet"
earned her first points going WB, BW, BOB and Group II from the 6-9 Puppy Class at the Fun-tier Kennel Club show while living with Jill Kennedy in Texas. Facet relocated to Pennsylvania where she presently lives with Kathy and Pete Winowich. Kathy has been doing a wonderful job showing Facet, and Facet just loves her buddies "Desi","Kimo", and "Ely".
Included in her wins; Facet and Desi (Both Kobuck Kids) won Winner's Bitch/Winner's Dog/Best Of Winners/Best Of Opposite Sex/Best Of Breed at the Upper Potomac Valley Kennel Club Show under esteemed Judge Mrs. Sondra Joy Esporite and Facet was also awarded WB/BOS at the Nita-Nee Kennel Club Show by Judge Arne Berg.
Facet has done well in 2001. She took a major win under Judge F. M. MacDonald going WB/BW/BOS at the Plainfield Kennel Club show in Freehold, NJ on May 27th, WB/BOS at the Pocono Mountain Kennel Club in Gilbert, PA on Sept. 14th under Judge Charles Olvis; WB at Warrenton Kennel Club in Rectortown, VA on Sept. 28th under Judge Mrs. Meredith Johnson Snyder. On October 6th, Facet was awarded WB/BOS by Judge Mrs. Michelle Billings at the Devon Dog Show Assoc. Show in Ludwigs Corner, PA.

Sierra's Barkarian Busy Body
"Busy" is a Multi BOS and BOB winner from the classes, just needing her majors to finish her Championship. She lives with her Owner Jeanne Stiner in Erie, Pa. Both Jill Kennedy and myself send a big "THANK YOU" for the dedication and terrific job that Jeanne has done with the "Biz". Busy and Jeanne made the cuts at the 1998 S.H.C.A. National Speciality in both the Open Class and the Brood Bitch Class. Congratulations on a job well done !!
Busy's daughter "Star" (Barynuk's Heart Of Gold), has been doing well in obtaining Winners and Reserve Winners awards. Jeanne is looking forward to an exciting time in the ring with Star.
BISS CH Alcinta's Chena of Barynuk "Chena"
started her show career at 3 months of age, winning her class at the Delaware Valley Speciality Match. She is a free spirit, bringing joy to everyone here at Barynuk. Chena has continued winning her classes at Regular All Breed Dog Shows, and has proven to be quite a natural in the Show Ring.Chena won BOS out of a sweepsakes class of 45 puppies at the Garden State SHC Speciality.Many thanks to Lynne and Randy George in Texas, and to Cindy and Alton Wortmann in Louisianna for entrusting Barynuk with this stunning puppy.Chena won Winner's Bitch, Best Of Winners, and Best Of Breed over Specials at the York Kennel Club Dog Show on July 25th, 1999. Chena took Winners Bitch at the Lackawanna Kennel Club Show on July 31st, and Winner's Bitch/Best Of Winners at the Penn Ridge Kennel Club Show on August 7th, for a Three Point Major. Chena won Winner's Bitch / Best Of Opposite Sex at the Talbot Kennel Club Show.
Chena finished her Championship this Spring, of 2000 at the Chesapeake Siberian Husky Club's Speciality Show. Chena won Winner's Bitch, Best Of Winner's, and Best Of Breed for a five point major. This was a history making event, marking the first time in the history of our breed that a White Siberian won Best Of Breed at a Speciality Show. Kudos to Brian Flory for his exceptional handling skills. Chena and Brian make it all look so easy.
Barynuk's Smokimtn Desparado "Desi"
is a BOS and multi Reserve Winner. Desi is owned by Kathy and Pete Winowich and lives in the Colonial Park area of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Thanks to Kathy and Pete for the wonderful home they have given to Desi and his Siberian buddies "Kimo" and "Facet". Kathy has taken to the ring like a fish to water, and actually enjoys the competition !! Desi and Kathy traveled the circuit in Florida, where Desi did very well and made a lot of new friends. Desi started out 1999 by winning Winner's Dog / Best Of Winners at Talbot Kennel Club and recently took Winner's Dog at Mid Susquehanna Valley Kennel Club.Desi and Facet (Both Kobuck Kids) recently won Winner's Dog/Best Of Winners/Best Of Opposite Sex/Best Of Breed/Winner's Bitch at the Upper Potomac Valley Kennel Club Show under esteemed Judge Mrs. Sondra Joy Esporite. Barynuk's Blaze of Fury "Blaze"
is a BOB Winner from the classes, having multiple reserve wins with major competition as well. Blaze is owned by Susan and Roger Fortier and lives in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania with her three Siberian buddies.
Blaze's exquisite movement has been passed onto her offspring. Two are currently being shown in conformation events; Jesse (Barynuk's Earth Wind and Fire) and Sasha (Barynuk's Sasha Sings the Blues).
Int'l/Nat'l/Am CH. Barkarian's Medicine Man, CGC "Shaman"
is a multiple Group Winner, having won numerous group placements as well. Shaman is litter brother to "Neaka" (CH. Anbi's Barkarian Sneak Attack). Much appreciation goes out to Jill Kennedy (Barkarian Siberians), for enabling Barynuk to co-own Shaman with Amanda Gibney (Kyrie Siberians). Shaman finished his IABCA International Championship, shown by Jill, in February 1999, winning the Breed all three days, a Group II, Best Bred By Exhibitor In Show, a Group I, and Reserve Best In Show !! Shaman was ranked the #15 Siberian (Siberian Quarterly System I) and currently lives in Texas with Amanda and Tim Gibney, being expertly Specialed by Amanda. We're all looking forward to an exciting year for Shaman.
Kavacha's Mercedes Of Barynuk "Toni"
has done very well in the ring, being shown on a limited basis. Many thanks to Kathy Koch for entrusting Barynuk with this very special girl. Toni is a sweetheart who wags her tail so hard her entire back end moves from side to side. Toni will be back in the ring this Spring. We're sure she'll have an exciting Millenium Year.
CH. Barynuk's Nitro Skyhawk
"Nitro"
completed his championship in three months. He accumulated 8 points in a three day week-end, including both a four-point and a three-point major. Nitro's loving disposition and strong, sound movement is something he passes on to his offspring ( CH. Barynuk's Born To Fly, Barynuk's Poetry In Motion, and Barynuk's Mystique O'Mochamco ). Nitro's siblings have made their own way in the Show Ring as well ( CH. Kunu's Diva Skyhawk Of Barynuk, Barynuk's Minnesota Skyhawk, Barynuk's Summer Skyhawk, Barynuk's Nirvana Skyhawk, Barynuk's Lightning Skyhawk, and Barynuk's Montanna Skyhawk ).
CH. Barynuk's Born To Fly
"Jala"
has undoubtedly lived up to his name, starting his show career at a tender age winning numerous Best In Sweeps and Best In Matches. Receiving his first point at his very first show at the age of 6 months, Jala never looked back finishing his Championship one day after turning one year old with three majors, two three-point and one four-point, where he won Winner's Dog at the Chesapeake Siberian Husky Club. Jala's athleticism, effortless movement and breed type received much attention from friends, spectators and fellow competitors at the 2001 Siberian Husky Club Of America's National Speciality, where he placed third in Sweeps and survived the initial cut in the Breed Ring. Look for Jala in the Specials Ring this coming year.
Barynuk's Poetry In Motion
"Kaz"
, had obtained her first three majors, one four-point and two three-point, all from the 9-12 month puppy class in stiff East Coast competition. Needing only four single points to finish, she has taken time off to grow a new coat and will soon be finishing her Championship and ready to begin her Specials Career. Like her siblings, CH. Barynuk's Born To Fly and Barynuk's Mystique O'Mochamco, Kaz's effortless movement truly is poetry in motion.
